"My name is Dave Robokoff. My wife Vikki and I reside in the Village of Pulaski. I have personally known Jerry Santy, founder of J.C. Santy Construction, LLC., since 1972. We moved into our new, Pulaski home in August 2004. Unfortunately, J.C. Santy Construction DID NOT do the flatwork. Within three years, we developed concrete scaling, pitting and popping in all our poured, flatwork areas. The porch and driveway were not only unsightly in appearance, but the structural integrity of the concrete surfaces was seriously deteriorating. Replacement or remedy was imminent. Additionally, the surface of our garage floor needed attention.
So, in the spring of 2009 I called on my dear friend, Jerry Santy. He told me he was personally retired, but his son Brad had taken over the daily operation and had some suggestions to cure our ills. A quick call to Jerry’s daughter Lisa, the office manager for J.C. Santy Construction and we were set with an appointment to meet Brad, at our home. Brad offered suggestions for concrete overlay, stamping and stenciling, along with acid coloring. He pointed out advantages of reusing the existing concrete surfaces while personalizing the final product. He suggested, but never channeled us into any idea, except what we wanted. He even provided large samples for view. He allowed us to make rational decisions based upon his expertise. When we decided on a direction, he scheduled the work and kept to his word. Lisa gave us updates on construction progress. His workmanship is impeccable, his prices are extremely fair and the outcome of our upgrade is absolutely pleasing. Our flatwork is uniquely customized, aesthetically pleasing and structurally sound. "Santy Construction! Just a note to say thank you for the recent concrete work Brad did for us! We Love our new patio & porch! Everyone else likes it too, we have had nothing but compliments! Some of our neighbors like it so much they are thinking of having some stamped concrete done in the future too! For any one else out there....If you are thinking about having any concrete work done in the near future, we recommend contacting Brad at Santy Construction. We first met Brad and Lisa at the home expo show last winter. We were beginning plans to pour a new patio in place of our wood decking.
We researched on the internet and decided we needed to check out some local companies because we had no idea where to start. We found several vendors at the expo offering concrete stamping but when we came upon the Santy Construction booth, we both knew right away that this would be the company we would use. We did not even bother to get a quote from anyone else. Brad took the time to educate us on the different methods being used in the art of concrete stamping. We quickly learned that not all stamped concrete is the same! Brad helped us through all the planning and design stages! There are endless design ideas and colors to choose from! Brad offered suggestions and different ideas when we were unsure of what we wanted, which really helped us out. Almost as important as Brad's expertise is his patience! Brad was very patient with us when we(wife) had a very hard time choosing colors! We are so happy with the results. It really transformed our backyard!
We also had an additional driveway poured and a slab put under our storage shed...we did not mean to leave this out! Brad did a great job on those projects too! We just really love the way our patio and porch turned out! One last comment! As you can see by the photos, they did a beautiful job! It's what you can't see, that is also impressive. We barely knew Brad and his team were here doing the work. They are very well organized and neat about their jobsite! It's not very often anymore when you get Great Quality and Great Service! Brad states he stands behind his work and we can see why! It's because he makes sure it us done right the first time! Thanks Again!"
"I have been meaning to write this for quite sometime, but am finally getting around to it.
We absolutely love our patio. The colors are so warm and inviting , and the wall adds the perfect finishing touch. I've spent quite a few mornings out here with a cup of tea, a cozy blanket, and a good book. The praises we hear most from our neighbors, friends, and family are about the pleasing shape, the complimentary colors, and the wall. Everyone loves the wall!
Brad and his crew did an outstanding job. It was really nice doing business with your company. I especially appreciated your patience with me as I was working on ideas. We have had this patio in mind for a few years before we set out to do it. We thought carefully about choosing a company with a lot of experience so we could get help with pattern, colors, and shape.
